The rules and regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events only. They are to establish minimum acceptable requirement for such events. No expressed or implied guarantee of safety shall result from publication of, or compliance with these rules and /or regulations. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to participants. Any and all photographs shot at the racetrack or by track photographer will remain the property of the photographer and racetrack, which may be used for promotional purposes or any other purpose deemed suitable by the photographer and the racetrack.
1. Track management reserves the right to refuse entry to any car, driver or crewmember to the pit area or the grandstand.
2. Anyone entering the pit area must read and sign a release absolving track owners and officials of any safety liability. Enter the pits at your own risk.
3. Children age 11 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to enter the pit area. Parents must sign a release form for children aged 12 to 16.
1. Any full or mid-size American made car, 1960 or later. No front wheel drive allowed.
2. Aluminum may be used to replace Front & rear firewall.
3. No side door windows allowed. Vent windows not to exceed 20 inches at longest point.
4. Fiberglass, rubber, or plastic stock-appearing front nosepiece. Back of car must be closed in (minimum 8 inch panel).
5. Stock or stock-appearing aluminum, fiberglass or steel aftermarket bodies allowed.
6. Factory stock or stock-appearing rear spoiler only not to exceed 7 inches in length.
7. Minimum weight is 3000 lbs. with driver, after race.
8. Stock front clip tube rear cars 320 lbs.
CHASSIS/SUSPENSION
1. Must have stock lower control arms.
2. Rack and pinion allowed.
3. Wide five hubs allowed.
4. #1 spark plug must be no further back than corresponding upper ball joint.
5. After market spindles allowed and upper A arms.
6. Stock front clip tubed rear with leaf springs only.
7. Upper A arm mounting open.
8. Aftermarket tie rods ok.
9. Chassis/Uni-body floor pans allowed.
10. Suspension must remain stock type with screw jacks allowed.
11. Any shock allowed in any location. No Coil-overs. (1 per wheel max)
12. Any springs allowed. Must retain stock mounting position.
13. Adjustable shackles or sliders on rear leaf springs allowed.
14. Rear leaf spring lowering blocks allowed.
15. Larger front spindles in manufactured line allowed.
ENGINE
1. Maximum allowable engine displacement is 365 cubic inches.
2. Aftermarket engine mounts recommended.
3. Flat-top pistons only.
4. Valve springs Optional.
5. Rocker studs may be pinned or screw-in type with push rod guide plates. No stud girdles allowed. Poly lock-nuts allowed.
6. Any flat-tappet cam. No mushroom lifters. Roller rockers allowed.
7. Any stock cast iron head. No aftermarket heads.
8. Heads and block may be deburred to help oil flow only. No porting or polishing of heads.
9. No angle plugs or aluminum heads allowed.
10. Top of air cleaner may not protrude more than 4 inches above hood.
11. Any exhaust headers allowed.
12. Exhaust must exit safe for driver.
13. Any oil pan allowed. No oil coolers.
14. Aluminum intakes allowed. No porting or polishing of intake.
15. Radiator must be in stock location.
DRIVE TRAIN
1. Engine and transmission must be in stock manufactured line: GM-GM, FORD-FORD, CHRYSLER-CHRYSLER.
2. Flywheel must be stock type. No aluminum flywheels allowed. Clutch, pressure plate, and release bearing must be stock type or OEM replacement. No mini clutches allowed.
3. Transmission must have working reverse.
4. Stock type automatic transmission allowed.
5. Automatic transmission may run remote cooler at radiator. Cooler not allowed inside car.
6. Any passenger car or pickup truck rear end is allowed. The rear end may be locked by welding or other means. GN-type floaters allowed but quick-change rear-ends are not allowed. Ford 9-inch rear ends are allowed an all cars.
7. Aftermarket brake systems allowed.
8. Must have shatterproof bell housing or safety blanket.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
1. Add on MSD and other aftermarket ignition systems allowed. No magnetos.
2. Manufacturers stock starters or mini starters allowed.
3. Ford-type starter relays allowed to promote safety.
4. Ignition switches and starter switches may be other than stock.
WHEELS AND TIRES
1. Spec tires.
2. Large wheel studs allowed.
3. Max 10 inch steel wheel allowed.
FUEL SYSTEM & CARBURETION
1. No electric fuel pumps allowed.
2. Fuel cells allowed.
3. Stock fuel tanks allowed. Must be mounted securely inside trunk of car and supported by a minimum of two-2by 1/8 in. steel straps. A metal loop bar must be provided to protect tank.
4. No Additives, No alcohol, Gasoline.
5. Single carburetor only.
6. Two throttle return springs required.
7. No carburetor spacers. One gasket allowed under carburetor.
8. Choke may be removed.
ROLL CAGE
1. Roll cage must be provided per general specifications. May have two bars through back firewall to frame.
RADIOS
Radios and other two-way communication or listening devices are allowed.
Any other provisions may be dealt with through weight penalties at the tracks discretion.
